John M. Legge BSc, MBus, FAIM

John Legge is Australia's leading scholar in the field of innovation management and innovation policy. He is an expert in strategies for information technology and business development.

John is the principal of Information Strategy Planning Pty Ltd. His consulting clients have included McCain Foods, National Rail Corporation, Santos Ltd and other major enterprises. He wrote the study guide for "Business Planning for Innovation" in the APESMA MBA program and continues to provide guidance and assessment services for its students. He is a Teaching Fellow of Ballarat and Swinburne Universities.

John had some thirty years experience in industry between 1961 and 1991, holding technical, project management, marketing and strategic planning appointments in Australia and the United Kingdom. He has carried out assignments in eight other countries. He has wide-ranging industrial experience including the design and installation of central and industrial power control and distribution systems, the management of technology introduction programs, consulting on information technology and new product introduction and developing business strategies and pricing policies for a multinational computer supplier.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and an Executive Member of the American Marketing Association.
